GXCom overview
Thank you for choosing Gurux GXCom, the most efficient and versatile software based communication solution available. In this document you find instructions for using GXCom.

System requirements
To fully benefit of Gurux GXCom, you need at least a Pentium II class PC compatible computer, with at least 64 MB of RAM and 10 MB of free hard disk space.

Gurux GXCom overview
The COM technology based Gurux GXCom components are designed to improve data communication solutions. With the components you can easily create a data link from your computer to any physical device, and send and receive data. With GXCom it is easy to communicate between devices, using a data connection, and a protocol, of your own choice.

Main components of the system:
  • GXClient component  includes methods for sending and receiving packets. With GXClient you set the protocol settings of the GXCom, and make the connection to the Media component of your choice.

  • GXPacket component  includes the sending information of a protocol packet, and the primary data.

  • GXScriptParser component  adds an easy way to configure GXCom to understand different kinds of protocols.

  • GXMedia component of your own choice allows you to alter the parameters of the data connection.
